Species: Moonchetren
Scientific Name: Noctis Smilodon
Description: The Moonchetren are a breed of deer that are mixed with that of a saber-toothed tiger. Though, they are see-through and usually roam at night, hunting down any prey that they can which mostly consists of other Moonchetren, squirrels, bats, and sometimes berries. Though, they usually do not eat the meat, but instead, drink the blood. Of course, they do not kill the animal or being unless they intend to eat it, since it is against their laws. They tend to mark their territory with a glowing goo that seeps from the bottoms of their hooves which also contains a scent for during the day, since during the day it does not glow. They also use their fangs to mark their territory, making a marking of their Herd's symbol upon tree's, stating that this is their land.

Very much like vampires, Moonchetren do not usually hunt or wander during the day, since it burns them. Also, it is safest at night for them to wander since they are usually hunted by Moonchetren hunters, also commonly known as "Vampire Hunter's." Due to the fact that Moonchetren can take on human form if so wished, the tale of Vampire's had begun due to them, but some - but few - found out that it was actually ghoulish-looking creature that could take on a human form killing humans (rarely.)

Moonchetren tend to have a sash wrapped around their bodies, symbolizing their souls, since they are ghouls. The more vivid the sash is, the younger the Moonchetren is. The more transparent it is, the older it is. Though, it can also mean that the creature is very much alive or near death. The Moonchetren Hunter's use this to their advantage so when they do take down a Moonchetren, they can tell if it is dead or alive. However, there are some to be rumored that can control the visibility of their sash, but it is very rare. Usually 1 out of 40o have this ability.

Habitat: Moonchetren can adapt to anyplace, but they prefer to stay in dense places, so they usually stay in swamps or forests.

Housing: They tend to sleep in caves or abandoned fox burrows to shield themselves from the light.

Personality: Even though Moonchetren are considered to be cruel and brazen creatures, they are actually very timid and only come to humans of the purest of hearts, usually young girls, which is one of their downfalls since Vampire Hunters use young children as one of their tactics to capture a Moonchetren and wear it's pelt once the sorcerer's of the town are able to make the ghoulish creature into a wearable one, since Moonchetren are part ghost. However, there are some who have the nerve to attack.

- Moonchetren were the ones who had caused the start of the tale of vampires.
- Moonchetren can take human form
- There are two different Clans of Moonchetren: The Radtorr and the Enirr. The Enirr kill all of their prey whenever hunting and tend to have darker pelt and eye colors while Radtorr have lighter pelt colors and eye colors.
- Only the Gods and Goddess of the two Clans have actual antlers.
- Moonchetren are considerably difficult to kill. The only way they can die is by too much exposure to sunlight or by the magical spells of a sorcerer or a sorceress.
